Rosacea and Redness

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition characterized by persistent redness, primarily on the face, often affecting the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead. This redness may be accompanied by visible blood vessels, swelling, and, in some cases, acne-like bumps or pustules. Rosacea can be triggered by factors such as sun exposure, hot weather, spicy foods, alcohol, and stress, which can worsen symptoms and cause flare-ups. While rosacea itself is a long-term condition, treatments are available to help reduce redness, calm the skin, and manage symptoms.
