Cherry Angiomas

Cherry angiomas are small, benign growths composed of clusters of tiny blood vessels that appear as bright red or purple spots on the skin. They are typically smooth and can range in size from a pinpoint to several millimeters in diameter. Cherry angiomas commonly occur on the torso, arms, and scalp and become more prevalent with age. While they are harmless and generally do not require treatment, some individuals may choose to have them removed for cosmetic reasons or if they become irritated or bleed.
